Captured Glimpse of Glory

The temple of Concord is a remarkably well preserved Doric temple (second after Parthenon of Athens) due to the fact that it was continiued to be used as a church after the disappearance of the pagan culture. It rests among the ruins of the ancient city of Agrigento and other 4 temples dedicated to Herakles, Olympian Zeus, Hera Lacina and Vulcan. The area will give you as a visitor a complete feeling and enchanting views that you will rarely experience in archaeological sites.

Yet, I cannot assure you that what you will learn and sense will overlap with my experiences. Travelling not always gives you the best views you can reach; skies might get cloudy, roads might get muddy,or sun might be whimsy.Nevertheless,at this very point, there hides the secret pleasure of the traveller towards the unpredictability of the captured glimpse of glory.
