The Enchanted Forest of the Beautiful Mind - Gaudi 1
Antoni Plàcid Guillem Gaudí i Cornet,
Gaudi, an austere man in his daily life... In one of the memories of the nuns
who knew him she stated that they learned a lot from him. He only carried
enough money no more no less. Whenever someone told him to buy new clothes he refused
the need to look better on the exterior, I believe, simply because his mind was
rich enough; his endless genious covered all shades of colours and all the
wonders of the nature. He studied hard to solve the mysteries of the inherent
with which he nurtured his imagination's geometries and reflected them in the
most natural forms. Thus, he identified himself as a geometer and he was
indeed. La Sagrada Famiglia, the epic piece of art where he interpreted the
holy aura of the forest, on its own is enough to understand the phenomenon. The
catenary arch model of the building is on the exhibition inside the building
and upon a glance you hear his voice stating afore mentioned
self-identification in the sheer ethereal atmosphere of the edifice. In his testimony
he defined his project as a work of all times, all architects and all minds.
Via this way, before he died, he shared the piece of his inner world to be inherited
by other architects, sculptors and artists. Pure heritage of the divine man,
his soul, granting the permission to enter the enchanted forest of the
beautiful mind...
